The Romanian Team of women gymnastics finished 1st after the meet in Germany with the French and German teams. Without the leaders Sandra Izbasa and Steliana Nistor, the six gymnasts (Andreea Acatrinei, Andreea Grigore, Gabriela Dragoi, Daniela Druncea, Anamaria Tamarjan and Madalina Gutu) managed to sum up 231.25 points. Germany came 2nd with 230.15 points, and France 3rd - 225.80.
